Renuvion is a one-time treatment. Initial results can often be seen shortly after the procedure and continue to improve over the following 6–9 months.
Body contouring includes a combination of surgical techniques used to shape your body with the aim of improving the appearance and overall silhouette, defining and (re)creating curves and proportions. The purpose is to achieve a more harmonious and aesthetic body shape that cannot be obtained through exercise and a healthy diet alone.
“I felt safe throughout the entire process, and the result was both natural and beautiful. I could not be more satisfied – definitely a recommendation from me.”
Bodycontouring | BBL
It is essentially combinations of different surgical procedures, put together individually to contour/shape specific areas of the body. Based on your wishes and body shape, we tailor the combination of techniques that is right for you.
The procedures may include liposuction on the body, arms, and legs, possibly combined with buttock augmentation (BBL), breast augmentation (with your own fat or implants), breast reduction, breast lift, or abdominoplasty. Body contouring can be targeted at a specific area or multiple areas of the body to achieve better proportions.
I use many different body contouring techniques, and my goal is to create results that look natural with minimal scarring. I perform body contouring as an individually tailored design.
Candidates for a combination of body contouring techniques have often experienced one or more of the following:
pregnancies
menopause
significant weight gain or weight loss
many weight fluctuations over time
a body shape they feel is not harmonious
Many women seek body contouring after menopause, when body shape often changes – and despite maintaining a healthy lifestyle, more fat accumulates around the abdomen and hips, and the waistline is lost. With body contouring, it is possible to change this.
After pregnancy, many women want correction of a C-section scar and the “tummy pouch” that does not go away despite exercise. There may also be a desire to remove excess skin and repair separated abdominal muscles. Many believe this would require a long scar between the hip bones, but this is often not necessary. Liposculpturing and removal of excess skin through mini abdominoplasty and mini incisions are often the solution. My goal is that scars are not visible.
At a consultation, we will go through your wishes and expectations, and based on a clinical examination and assessment of your body shape, you will receive individual guidance on your treatment options and expected results.

Renuvion uses a combination of helium and radiofrequency energy to create plasma energy. This gently heats the collagen-rich tissue, which is the main factor contributing to skin laxity. Through small incisions, a thin instrument is inserted beneath the skin, where the combination of helium and radiofrequency causes the collagen fibres to contract and triggers the body’s natural collagen regeneration process (neocollagenesis).
Renuvion is a one-time treatment. Initial results can often be seen shortly after the procedure and continue to improve over the following 6–9 months.
Depending on which and how many areas are treated, the procedure takes about 1–2 hours. It can be performed on its own or in combination with liposuction or another treatment. You should plan for the entire day, as time is also allocated for preparation and recovery. You can return home the same day.
During a Renuvion procedure, a thin cannula is inserted beneath the skin, and through a combination of radiofrequency energy and helium, the collagen fibres responsible for skin laxity are tightened.
Common treatment areas include the chin, arms, abdomen, inner thighs, and upper back – but the face can also be treated.
Mild swelling and tenderness may occur. Some patients experience temporary nerve discomfort, particularly after treatment on the arms.
Results are individual and depend on several factors, including age, skin quality, and thickness. A tightening effect can be seen immediately after the procedure, with the final result appearing after 6–9 months. For most patients, the results are long-lasting but may be affected over time by natural ageing, lifestyle factors, and weight changes.
Complications are very rare. There is a risk of infection, bleeding, perforation, emphysema (air and a crackling sensation under the skin for 2–3 days), and nerve pain.
Compression therapy is recommended to begin within the first 24 hours after the procedure and should be worn around the clock for 2–3 weeks. It is important that the compression garment fits well, extends beyond the treated area, and is the correct size. Compression that is too tight should be avoided. In some cases, it may be appropriate to use a foam pad underneath the compression garment on the abdomen.
Lymphatic massage is not a standard part of the aftercare, but it can support a faster recovery and may be started shortly after the procedure.
In the early phase after treatment, you should avoid applying ice or exposing the treated areas to extreme temperatures.
